Killiney Beach summer clean-up

Join the volunteers at Killiney Bay Community Council for another opportunity to make a difference along our Irish coastline. We are delighted to have Dr Grace Gott from University College Dublin at our summer beach clean-up to give us an insight into ‘Ireland’s Blue Carbon‘.

What is Blue Carbon?

‘Blue Carbon’ refers to the uptake of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere by natural marine and coastal habitats in a way that can be quantified.
