clean-ups 2021

KBCC organises regular clean-ups at Killiney Beach and Ballybrack Village throughout the year. The latest official beach clean took place on 17 April, followed on 24 April by a gallant effort in Ballybrack Village and surrounds. The next beach clean will take place on 02 October.

Event: Killiney Beach spring clean-up: 17 April 2021

Event: Ballybrack Village gets a spring clean: 24 April 2021

We welcome all volunteers to help remove litter at every opportunity. In the current restrictions, we ask beach-goers to remove even small amounts each time you visit the beach. A 2-minute beach clean by many of us can make a big difference. Even encourage the kids to do a mini bucket clean-up. We also encourage dog walkers to ‘make that scoop’! Together we can achieve a lot.

Watch this space for upcoming dates, pending further government COVID-19 announcements.
