World Oceans Day 2023 – Killiney Beach clean-up

Join us on Killiney Beach on 8 June 2022 for our clean-up to celebrate World Oceans Day. This year’s theme is Planet Ocean: tides are changing.
Killiney Bay Community Council (KBCC) endeavours to raise awareness of the vital importance of our oceans in everyday life and the role they play in sustaining a healthy planet. We are delighted to be participating once again in this global celebration.
When: 16.00-18.00, 8 June 2023
Where: Meet at the Lifeguard Hut
World Oceans Day aims to ‘inform the public of the impact of human actions on the ocean, develop a worldwide movement of citizens for the ocean, and mobilize and unite the world’s population on a project for the sustainable management of the world’s oceans.’
