Windfarms and the changing awareness of local communities

Public information meeting on ‘Windfarms and the changing awareness of local communities’, co-hosted by Blue Ireland, Dalkey Community Council and Killiney Bay Community Council.

With increasing concern among the public about imminent marine industrial development along the Irish coastline, we invite you to join us in a discussion on major wind farm developments planned for nearshore sites on Kish, Bray and Codline sandbanks.

This should be of particular interest to residents of Dublin and North Wicklow, from Howth to Wicklow Town.

Date: Wednesday, 16 October 2024, 20:00pm

Venue: Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel, Killiney, Co. Dublin

Background

As Ireland takes steps to address climate change, it is vital that the actions taken do not exacerbate biodiversity loss, but rather serve to protect, conserve and restore our precious marine environment (Blue Ireland).

For further information, please contact info@blueireland.org or get in touch with KBCC at info@killineycommunitycouncil.ie.

We are all impacted by climate change. Let’s give a voice to those who have no voice.
