SUMMARY:Killiney Beach spring clean-up: 11 February 2023
DESCRIPTION:Killiney Beach spring clean-up 2023\nThanks to the lovely bunch of volunteers who joined us on 11 February 2023 for the first official KBCC beach clean-up of this year. We kicked off from the Lifeguard Hut at the usual time of 11.00am and scoured the beach for an hour finding all sorts of stuff that just doesn’t live on a beach. \nAre you a beach-goer who likes a good clean beach? Come along\, meet some locals and have a bit of banter and a cuppa at our next beach clean\, planned for 8 April. \nJust turn up or register your interest at info@killineycommunitycouncil.ie \n  \nThanking our volunteers\nA huge thanks to all our enthusiastic volunteers of all ages who regularly take part in the beach clean-ups\, as well as those who do so on their own merit all year round. \nCompany volunteering\nWe are also very happy to hook up with companies in the vicinity wanting to get their staff out for a morning\, afternoon or evening clean-up\, helping you to tick that ‘corporate social responsibility’ box. \n‘Leave nothing but your footprints.’ \nSee our Events section for details on our next clean-up. \n
