DESCRIPTION:Come join us on Killiney Beach on 8 June 2022 for our clean-up to celebrate World Oceans Day. Killiney Bay Community Council (KBCC) would like to raise awareness of the vital importance of our oceans and the role they play in sustaining a healthy planet. A global celebration\, it looks to bring people and organisations together across the world to celebrate and honour our oceans. \nThis year\, we welcome guest speaker Dr Derek Cawley\, representing a group of Irish Doctors for the Environment\, who will speak on the link between health and the environment. \nWhen: 16.30\, 8 June 2022 \nWhere: Meet at the Lifeguard Hut \n16.30 – 17. 15: Beach clean \n17.15 – 17.45: ‘Our Ocean\, Our Health\, Our Concern’\, Dr Derek Cawley\, Doctors for the Environment.
