Killiney Beach clean-up autumn 2021.

The autumn beach clean-up took place on Saturday 16 October 2021, kicking off from the Lifeguard Hut at 11.00am. Some pictures below.

What a fab turnout! Thanks to all our enthusiastic volunteers and little helpers for joining in helping to clean up the beach. Some of you for the first time which is great to see.

Our ‘Tea by the Sea‘ after the clean-up went down a treat. A big thank you to our sponsors:

• Fred and Nancys on Killiney Beach for the tasty drinks and pastries
• The Igo Inn in Ballybrack for the delicious sandwiches

We encourage all volunteers to help remove litter at every opportunity. A 2-minute beach clean by many of us can make a big difference.
